They're making terrible Al Haymon mismatches/cherry pick showcase fights and trying to give themselves credit as if they're giving up and coming prospects the chance to shine. Watch Rob Salty win 4 rounds and post fight we'll here "we told ya so!"


Rod Salami and whoever Peterson is fighting are no Chris Algieri, Ruslan Provodnikov, or Terrance Crawford.

If there's any group of fans who's all for giving untapped talent (^^lile those fighters at the time) a chance, it's NSB.

This isn't one of those times. Maybe they just don't feel Danny Garcia is any good or feel confident in him? If that's the case the he needs to vacate his titles and not hold them hostage. Rob Sana is a hostage fight.

Showtime needs to fix this ASAP before losing their subscribers. And there's a solution: Don't let these Haymon fighters fight on SHO unless they fight each other. I for one would rather see fights on a frequent basis. It doesn't matter whether there are no recognizable fighters in there. Just make fights a many as possible. That's better than mismatches. Gather all the Rod Salsas of the world and make them fight each other.

Are you ******? Haymon and Schaefer have been doing this for ages. You blame Oscar for this garbage? Peterson and Garcia are Haymon fighters. Are you saying Oscar is the one overprotecting these fighters? Why would he do that?

Exactly why do you think GB/Haymon got kicked off HBO.

They've entered that post honeymoon phase w/Showtime now who really kind of take whatever they're given at this point, Espinoza is the REAL problem it's his call to finalize/agree to this being put on TV.

Oscar deserves a brunt of the blame for this mess because even though this is Al Haymon desperately trying to fix the egg Garcia laid against Herrera, it's STILL his promotion and it's STILL his name (Golden Boy) promoting the event. Espinoza is a clown who fell for the Haymon/Schafer takeover agenda and now he doesn't have any choice but to air whatever garbage they decide to give him. Personally I got Showtime free for two years with my Fios subscription here in Brooklyn, but if not for that I would've canceled a long time ago.

It doesn't matter if Salka and Santana ko Garcia and Peterson, there is no justification for this fight. Neither Salka nor Santana should be anywhere near the ring in a world championship fight, let alone in the ring competing for one.

I really hope that no one buys tickets for this fight and they have the lowest ratings ever on a Showtime fight telecast.
