All threads and comparisons lead to Mayweather. Why is that?

I would have BH above Floyd already, Floyd isn't that high ATG wise.
When BH was younger his resume might have lacked a bit, because there wasn't anybody that good in the middleweight division, but he did the business for years and years, and still doing things that are comparable to FLoyd now, apart from lose once in a while.

But BH never took lay offs with the luxury of fighting when he wanted to do and fighting so little.

Resume as a welterweight, that's the only one that's relevant when assessing him as a welterweight.

Abraham was a good MW but an average SMW, Hatton a good LWW but an average WW.

Right now, Maidana's record at WW is no better than average with Broner (ranked 5-10) registering as his best win at the weight.

so do most of the alts for some reason.

Might be the same one? i.e. there are a bunch of guys on here who don't care about boxing, but rather only one fighter.

But I'm not assessing him as a welterweight. I think it would be unfair to compare someone who has 5 or so fights at a weight to someone who has 25 or so fights at his weight.

If we compare them, let's compare their careers against each other. If we do that, I think Maidana has a much deeper resume than Kovalev.

He clearly has the deeper resume. Not sure why divisions matter. Maidana is no better or worse a fighter than kovalev. Only difference is he actually happens to fight in divisions with talent.

That's what I'm saying. And that's how it is right now, I'm not saying Kovalev doesn't have the potential to wipe out the whole LHW division, but he just hasn't done it yet.

Hell no! 5 division 4 lineal vs 2 division 2 lineal. Hopkins best wins are Trinidad who started at WW and Oscar lol after Sturm whooped his ass showing 160 was too much for Oscar who came from 130lbs. B Hop didn't unify until little guys came up and did it for him at 160. B hop ducked Jones Jr rematch until he was shot. Taylor, Calslappy, and Dawson beat B hop while Floyd is undefeated. Hopkins has more fighters he could've fought yet gets a pass like Andre Ward... Until Hopkins takes ost he's suspect.

BHOP is one of the most decorated boxers in all of boxing history. He WILL win this fight and it will be his greatest accomplishment and the victory will propel him into the top 10 of boxing ATG's.
