sorry it's not about belief. it's about facts. we don't make up stories about how one guy didn't want to fight another because he wanted to fantasy fight some other guy instead.Comment

mrwrong you still haven't explained why murat was approved and not kovalev? you say hopkins wanted to fight cleverly and didn't care if he was stripped? uh not true because he was signed to fight murat before kovalev even entered the equation. he could have dropped the belt then and fought cleverly but instead he signed to fight murat because he wanted to keep his belt. then when murat drops out and kovalev enters, then all of a sudden he wants to fight cleverly? and this isn't a duck how?Comment

Nobody is saying Hopkins ducked Kovalev bro. And HAYb didn't read the links I posted, which debunk a lot of the myths in here and overall surrounding the whole Kovalev-Hopkins thing a year agoComment

Why bother to try to force Showtime to make the fight when they had a champion who was actually willing to fight over at HBO?I have read the thread except for the 2 links posted by King. Based on the BSence articles is where my opinion derives. They had the mandatory fight against Hopkins or the option to fight Cleverly. They chose Cleverly. I'm not saying its a duck (I don't believe in that) but I'm saying they had a choice and they chose Cleverly.
Even if Sho/GBP did not want the fight, Hopkins is not exclusive to them and we all know at his age he does not want to just give up a belt. They could have forced his hand n this one if they wanted to. Hll just look at the lengths Duva is going for the ish with the collapse of the Stevenspn fight.Comment

LOL. I explained everything, you are just incapable of understanding, I didnt say Hopkins wanted to fight Cleverly and didnt care about being stripped, you arent even reading what im saying but you insist on continuing, Im starting to not even understand what you are trying to say anymore, and I apologize for insulting you because its clear you just arent getting it, so it must be a failure to communicate because i broke it down already.mrwrong you still haven't explained why murat was approved and not kovalev? you say hopkins wanted to fight cleverly and didn't care if he was stripped? uh not true because he was signed to fight murat before kovalev even entered the equation. he could have dropped the belt then and fought cleverly but instead he signed to fight murat because he wanted to keep his belt. then when murat drops out and kovalev enters, then all of a sudden he wants to fight cleverly? and this isn't a duck how?Comment
