He moved a lot. And held a lot aswell.

I imagine not many here have seen the second Frazier fight.
I've been saying this for years. He literally hits just about every bullet point that people hate on here. Outspoken African-American who trashed his opponents. They'd be on here talking idiocy about how he ducked Ingemar Johannson and John Tate just like he ducked the war or some ****. How he gave up his belt just to duck Tate like a coward. He'd be a feather-fisted runner who clinched too much when he wasn't running.

          • Does anyone want to post some pics of Floyd's handwraps for this fight? I'm interested to see how it was wrapped by his new guy.

            • finally after being able to download and sit down to pay attention to this fight, my scorecard

              Mayweather/Maidana
              1: 10 9
              2: 10 9
              3: 10 9
              4: 9 10
              5: 9 10
              6: 9 10
              7: 9 10
              8: 9 10
              9: 10 9
              10: 9 9
              11: 10 9
              12: 9 10

i noticed nothing new except i paid more attention to the punches landed, floyd missed alot, and besides the 3rd rd wobble i believe mayweather was also on weak legs for a second in the 8th from a big overhand

like i thought, if mayweather decided to run he'd only be able to do it for 3-4 rds max before stopping to refuel for 3-4 rd's, and that's what he did, he moved well first 3 rd's, rd's were still close with not alot to seperate them(first two anyway) but mayweather won them no doubt in my opinion with a little more activity, floyd was visibly very tired from all the moving before getting his second wind in the 9th although not as much as in his younger days, still held back a little with the fatigue

so in all he didn't even move that much, he moved early, gassed and moved in the last rd, maidana was really held back from unloading some damage with all the clinches allowed, or atleast bayless letting them work out, the heavy more powerful maidana from the first fight also would have hurt this tired mayweather who thought he could move like in his younger days

in conclusion, maidana outboxed(since that was all that was allowed) mayweather to win 114-113

**** muhammad ali. he was an obnoxious, mouthy c*nt and he was certainly a piece of **** to joe frazier. and he was a boring fighter. i've had this opinion of him for quite a while. i always give a casual fan the stink eye if i ask them who their favorite boxer is and they say ali because 9/10 they've probably never seen any of his fights, which were mostly too dull to watch.

I was never a fan of Ali either.

Infact I had a pretty strong dislike for him.

That's quite an analysis you've got there. It's all BS, but you at least tried to sound reasonable. Statements like "Maidana out boxed Mayweather" is a pretty big red flag that your conclusion doesn't make any sense.

Especially considering Mayweather outlanded Maidana in total punches, AND MORE THEN DOUBLED HIS CONNECT PERCENTAGE.
