You said Porter and Thurman would undress Crawford..I don't agree with that..Let Crawford get his weight up,both fighters at a similar weight and size I believe Crawford has a good chance to beat both fighters mentioned..

Experience has a lot to do with why I feel this way..While maybe not Thurman's fault, fact remains he's not fought better fighters then Crawford..So why really there's a lot of unanswered questions with Thurman..TBH with Porter too..

Crawford looks like how Gamboa did against him messing with 2 of the biggest and strongest fighters at 147. he'd be better off trying his luck against the likes of Khan and Alexander before chasing giants. Both outmuscle and beat him up over the course of a fight and probably stop him.

Gamboa's been dropped about 4 times prior to this fight, seeing him hurt shouldn't overrate Crawfords punching power. It wasn't super human strength he was just the bigger man and then add Gambo lunging into that shot, that's what happens in those cases. Not to mention Crawford is right handed so when he is southpaw that's a powerful hook.

I'm not sure how well Crawford would do at 140 though, after Garcia ducks him for 6 months he'll end up moving up. He's a skinny guy so I don't see him hurting anybody up there, and being taller doesn't really mean that much if you don't use it to your advantage. Crawford does, but at 140 he won't have the massive size difference he had last night.

Again,I believe your talking about them right now,and not if all the fighters mention were same weight..Right now Crawford is not close to being a WW,so I see what ya saying..Yet if Crawford grows into his WW body,he's gonna be a really big problem for both of those fighters..He's far more polished then both fighters and has shown far better ring I.Q.then both..

I don't think Crawford is some huge puncher myself but Gamboa never really recovered from that first knock down IMO. As far as the "half his size thing" let's just dispel that now. Yes Crawford is quite a bit taller than Gamboa but he only weighed 7 pounds more I think. (Still big for 35) but the fight wasn't won with his size (reach, height, weight) Crawford won that fight on the inside. Gamboa came out and figured a way around the "size" difference. Crawford adjusted and caught him with short chippy shots.

That's my take on it. Everybody trying to talk about the size difference when that's not what really made the difference to me
The story of the fight was Crawford Catching Gamboa with hooks coming in and you say it wasn't his size and reach that won the fight? Gamboa wouldn't have to be coming in if it wasn't for the size and reach homie.

There still was way's for him to do it without leaving himself wide open on the way in..When Crawford made the adjustment,it was then time for Gamboa to make one..He could not do it..That's what hurt Gamboa in this fight,Crawford was going to have the reach everyone knew that from the gate..It was up to Gamboa and his team to have game plans in place to counter that..

Gamboa fought the way he always does though. That's his style. Starts throwing punches from the outside and ends up on the inside.(throwing punches) and that's where he got caught on the inside.

This is actually a credit to Gamboa for not allowing Crawford to keep him on the outside and at range and is also what made this fight so good.

Did size play a role in it? Yea probably. But it was no "game changer" IMO. That's the point I'm trying to make.

Gamboa is half his size, plus he has a weak chin and his defence is non-existent at times, people are getting carried away with Crawford's power. P4P he's got similar power to Bradley.
