Gamboa looked incredible IMHO. Then he did his low hands thing and Crawford punched up and caught him

Problem is he wants to put on a show, sometimes to a fault, and he'll take big risks to do it.
I heard Gamboa was advised to go for the KO because they wouldn't give him a decision in Crawfords hometown.

Gamboa was winning but that shot he got hit with behind the ear took him out of it, those equilibrium shots are the worst. Even an iron chin fighter will drop from a shot right around the ear area, it makes your legs turn to noodles.

I don't think Crawford is getting enough credit. Gamboa came out of the blocks well. He showed great quickness, timing and instincts initially, but Crawford was just a little bit behind. I don't agree about Gamboa's vast superiority and it being a matter of one punch turning it all around.

Crawford is a helluva a two fisted versatile fighter. He needed a bit of an introduction to Gamboa to see what he has and adjust. The reach advantage was factor, but I don't think the people knew that Crawford had that dog in him and the punching power.

Great fight and with big exchanges and a decisive finish. That is the type of fight I like. Not of a big fan of the "schooling" that is so often praised on the board. The Mayweather style barely touch someone or hit his gloves and run, then be credited with "schooling" a guy. I am for fireworks. I hope Canelo and Lara is this decisive.

I think he should fight at the lowest weight he feels good at. It looked like Crawford's extra size and power hurt Gamboa. Gamboa doesn't have the greatest chin and he is short for a lightweight. At a lower weight the fighters don't hit as hard and Gamboa's power is also more overwhelming to smaller men. I don't think Garcia is a punk. He keeps on winning and mostly by KO.

Gamboa was making a lot of mistakes... Crawford just dialed in and caught him. After that first KD it was only a matter of time. It's almost like Crawford knew everything he was getting ready to do. Not to mention his footwork was horrible. Gamboa has immense talent but without focus and better management I see him going the way of Jermain Taylor fast!

LW is very thin so yeah he can compete but he really should go back down in weight.

It won't happen bcse of politics but I'd like to see Gamboa/Linares.

the gamboa that fought terence last night could have beaten anyone at 135lbs.

terence is just a special fighter.

and people saying the guys at 135lbs are too strong/big for for him and should move down to 130 forget that gamboa got dropped hard against farenas, and was dropped plenty of times before that.

gamboa's chin has always been shaky no matter what weight class he's in.

Squaring up and dropping his hands in combinations Khan style is something that will never change. Think about it, he was winning the round and for no apparent reason he just started that bull****. When he boxed he was way better than Crawford but he refused to stick to it.

Also, he never recovered after being caught the first time. He was slow (reaction wise too) afterwards and every jab from Crawford was landing.
He was better till Crawford made the adjustment and switched lefty then commenced to expose a hole in Gamboa's defense
