    Gamboa is fine at 135

Gamboa would of wrecked any other fighter at 135 last night and that includes that punk Mikey Garcia. Why should he move down when T-Craw is moving up and he can clear 135 out? A few adjustments, stop squaring himself up and stop dropping his hands in combination and he beats Crawford comfortably too IMO

There is a very valid reason Mikey Garcia didn't want to come out and play

Gamboa is a beast, he'll be back.

He did look really good, but he's not a lightweight. He'd be better moving down at least to 130.

I thought so too, no losers here. Just a great fight with a ridiculous amount of skill and speed on display.

Outside of Mikey I see no fights that generate money there maybe Uchiyama in Japan. Maybe he could bounce between the two but I wouldn't even be surprised if he moved to 140, that guy has some balls.

I agree that he looked great.

All he has to do is dial back the recklessness and he's in business. If he could dial that back, he can be the man at a division way above where he belongs, he's that talented.

Problem is those mistakes are punished against naturally bigger guys, so he needs to learn to control the aggression a little more. He was the better fighter last night, but that size difference did even it out.

Gamboa really looked great, i saw no ring rust, he was fast as f/ukk, great footwork, just like you would imagine a Gamboa...but Crawford was just too much, not cause he was much more skilled just cause his arms had like twice the lenght of Gamboas and he was of course so much bigger and stronger and that is not a good combination if you think about Gamboas shaky chin...we all goddamn know that if Crawford was a natural Featherweight this would have been easy work for Gamboa. I dont even wanna see him at 130 even though i want to see him whooping Garcias a/ss but after that he should go down to 126...there are A LOT of great fights you can make at that weight!

Gamboa slightly moved his head... His chin looked very exposed...

It's simple, Gamboa tries to get even after he's been knocked down or rocked, he needs to get rid of that.

Yep, he kept dropping his hands as if he didn't care about the power the much bigger Crawford carried. He got clocked 6 or 7 times hard almost every round after the first KD and just kept coming in the way he always did...As Jim Watt would say, he's too long in the tooth to change his ways, like Froch with his left hand so damn low. But Gamboa doesn't have the punch resistance that Froch has, especially if he wants to keep fighting at lightweight.

I personally think Gamboa should move down in weight.

Totally agree, even supremely gifted fighters like Gamboa have a physical limit, this was it for the lil Cuban. I think he should get back down to 130, there are some good fights in that division against guys who compare favourably to him in size. Gamboa, for the first 4 rounds looked like the supreme fighter in every sense but Crawford's size eventually wore him out and then he got beat him.

Gamboa is done dude. Is that not clear to see?

Squaring up and dropping his hands in combinations Khan style is something that will never change. Think about it, he was winning the round and for no apparent reason he just started that bull****. When he boxed he was way better than Crawford but he refused to stick to it.

Also, he never recovered after being caught the first time. He was slow (reaction wise too) afterwards and every jab from Crawford was landing.
