Clearly a better "boxer" in pure terms.

Whether he could beat them or not is a different story.

Yeah true, Gamboa is really vulnerable when he is throwing.

Crawford is definitely more patient and methodical than either Thurman or Porter. Porter is pretty good himself, boxer puncher. They have totally different styles though. Crawford would probably fight someone not named Porter or Thurman when and if he moves up in weight. But if they do collide those would be really great fights.

Thurman is more of a power puncher than ring general. Thurman would probably like to fight a more offensive fighter like himself then step into the ring with either of these two technician. Not that he would be afraid .. it would just be a tougher fight.

I wouldn't say outboxed. It just took him 4 rounds to adjust to Gamboa's speed advantage. Once he got his timing down and made the proper adjustments he was in clear control.

Gamboa was landing his shots even after the KD's and was winning the 9th until he went trading with a bigger guy.

I 'm very interested to see what happens when he fights guys at 140 his own size guys that can hurt him and won't fall over when they get hit.

I like Crawford I had said before he was more of a puncher coming up then when he got on tv did more boxing but this fight showed he really is a boxer/puncher.

He'll box more like he did against Prescott at 140. Tonight he couldn't sit back and box with the faster opponent so he had to change up and take more risks.

Thurman looks the most promising. Only thing is that when he got caught against Karass, he looked hurt. And Karass does not have one punch power, he breaks down his opponents. He finished great though.

Gamboa is a very fast puncher. And he throws shots a weird angles. When you fight fast handed fighters you are bound to be touched here and there unless you are constantly moving yourself out of distance or around your opponent. I swear some people leave the most simple minded comments on this forum. You would think that as a boxing fan you would understand this. He cannot jsut sit back and box a guy who moves around the ring and is a lot faster then he is. Gamboa is just too fast and mobile for him to try and box. This is why he sat in front of him and countered/adjusted.
