Crawford is unquestionably more skilled than AB. But can he take as many flush shots from AB as he did from Gamboa? And will he hurt AB as easily as he hurt Gamboa? I know AB is the new joke of the boxing world. But he was a beast of a lightweight. And would bring something totally different to the table than what Crawford was in with tonight.Comment

Not a big Gamboa fan but Gamboa was winning before he got reckless. If Gamboa really had the focus and was defensively sound he likely would have beat TC tonight. He got reckless got caught and never really recovered 100% imoComment

I have probably watched every televised Gamboa fight and he is my guy but believe me when I say he has been hurt plenty throughout his career due to his hands being in his pockets and bad balance and chin issues. But I still think he can be a top guy in whatever division he settles in.Last edited by trufightfanatic; 06-28-2014, 11:45 PM.Comment

Man, Crawford put on an impressive performance tonight! A great come-behind victory! He has great potential and he deserves more recognition for it.
I wonder if this loss will FINALLY motivate Gamboa to be more active...though to be honest, I didn't see any signs of ring rust. But if he doesn't want to lose again, then he better make sure he's at the top of his game.
I was wondering how HBO would do after what we saw on Showtime and I must admit, this main event was better.Comment
