you can't make comparisons using washed up fighters like Martinez who was obviously done before he even signed the contract the fight Cotto. In fact If you watched Martinez vs Murray he clearly lost that fight!Comment

Crawford fought a great fight tonight and got the W. If Gamboa had beat him coming off of aa long layoff and preceded by subpar performances everyone would be saying Crawfod was never that good to begin with and I would have come on here and said that Gamboa is just that good. So now I say Gamboa gave a great account of himself tonight and fought a helluva fight and came up well short of winning. No shame in that. Maybe Crawford is just that good. As for Crawford, I have watched a few of his fights now and I think he is a good fighter a humble young star on the rise but I cannot even guess at how high his ceiling is as a fighter and as a star in the making. I dont know how he would matchup with any guys at 140 if he goes up but something tells me that he can hold his own with those top guys. I quess we all will have to wait and see what the future holds for both of these warriors. I know I will tune in to see either of them against anyone next.Comment

He wasn't completely sure of anything because TC said himself he was hurt in the 9th and went into a shell many times in earlier rounds. He won that's all that matters but 2nd KD to me was a lucky punch landed cuz Gamboa thought he had TC hurt and TC throws a wild hook that lands while Gomboa stand staight up chin in air!So what he got hurt late in the first. THAT was due to being reckless. The round before the first KD, you could see that Crawford became more aggressive when he was completely sure Gamboa couldn't hurt him. That's why he increased his punch output and basically went from countering to trading.Comment

I can agree with that to an extent.. the speed interupted crawfords timing in the begining up to the point where crawford hit gamboa with the right hook, which was why he switched to orthodox after that kd... after that gamboa was open for the right hook and straight right from both stances... he is the definition of a switch hitter...crawford took advantage of gamboa's failure to recover completly...crawford has arrived!!So what he got hurt late in the first. THAT was due to being reckless. The round before the first KD, you could see that Crawford became more aggressive when he was completely sure Gamboa couldn't hurt him. Broner was a very good puncher as a lightweight. As for him being chinny, its possible. But the only time his chin has been sn issue was in the Maidana fight. And Maidana hits pretty hard.Yea but IDK. Broner punching power manly is a result of his weight lifting and desperation in the Maidana fight. Broner's reallly not that physically strong. Mayweather alluded to that fact a lot leading up to his fight with Maidana. Mayweather took the same shots that Broner did and wasn't shaken up 1 bit. And in Broner last fight it didn't seem as if he was hitting near as hard as he was in the Maidana fight cus if he was he would of got that dude out in 3 rounds, it was quite surprising and mind boggling actaully..Comment

The Martinez is washed up isnt a valid excuse because the general agreement was that even a washed up martinez was too much for Cotto. Just give credit when its due, your posts show your incapable of that.Comment
