exactly I misunderstood. If Gamboa is shaken TC up at 135 then he will get KTFO messing with 140. Algeria, Provod, Alvarado..act all can give him problems let's not even discuss Haymon's or GBP's stable @ 140 TC is a great fighter at 135 though! Not sure why they aren't trying to unify with Vasquez..

SO unless he's willing to put in the amount of work required for him to make a healthy 130 it's over because he's not a 135 fighter and last I checked no one wanted to fight him anyway, high risk little reward. Terrance knew he was much bigger so he had no problem taking the fight...
I have never weighed Yuri so I dont know what he walks around at but 145-150 may be accurate. That said if he choses to stay at 135 or drop back down to 130 I feel he could and would still have much success as long as he stays active and sticks with one trainer. All lightweight fighter are not Terrence Crawford. And as for guys not wanting to fight Gamboa due to high risk low reward, u are correct but usually that changes following a loss. Gamboa is a handful for alot of guys. Ane Terrence Crawford knows he was in a fight tonight. Trust me Yuri is no ones pushover

I think he could beat provo, lucas, algieri, delurme, rios, alvarado i would like to see marquez vs crawford personally.. skills pays bills and in crawfords case he can adjust to any style, he truly is a very good pro.

If I said the better man won I don't know how that would be making excuses not really a big Gamboa fan to begin with..
He was never 135, he had so much of a lay off, he had the balls to fight and challenge a fighter at 135.

The truth is You say he was Rusty and he was the one that came out blazing the first 4 rounds..

Gamboa was never a fighter with great defense and always kept his hands down. He will struggle against any fighter with and kind of power and great timing will kill him no matter what weight.

You make excuses for a guy that was a big hype job because he was always great within 4 rounds after 4 he has always faded.

Good fight. Excellent performance by both guys. A lil bit of fool's gold for Crawford though. He's a good fighter. But if he wasn't in the ring with a guy that was at least two, probably three divisions smaller than him. He probably would have got KO'd tonight. As for Gamboa, he did the best he could with what he has. He's a good fighter. If he can make 26, he should. He might be too small for 30. But he's clearly not a lightweight. He hits hard and Crawford walked through bombs all night n

TC isn't Lopez or Matthyese and would have a hard time with either. He has a couple good fights at 135 and people think he's this phenom. He beat a much smaller Gamboa and a washed up Ricky Burns let's be real now..

Was rooting for Gamboa but I guess the better boxer one, hopefully Gamboa can still hang around and improve cause I never seen a boring gamboa fight.
Best fight I've seen for ages
