I don't know what weight class Gamboa is gonna fight in next but I dont think he is done by a long shot based on what I saw tonight.

Gamboa boxed really well in the first 3 rounds. Then for some reason he lost his discipline. Crawford did well to turn it around. Maybe crawford is one of those boxer than waits a couple rounds then works you out. Gamboas chin is suspect reminded me of amir khan.

But Gamboa is obviously a 130 pounder AT BEST! He's not a LW. Then with the year layoff and only 2 fights in 2 years ring rust was clear imo. The better man still won tonight but I am a bit skeptical about how much success Crawford will have north of 135. Crawford has a lot of skill and height but I don't think he has the power or chin to deal with the higher weights...
Shut up and enjoy a great fight and stop making excuses for any fighter. Gamboa was never a defensive responsible fighter and it showed...

Gamboa has got to learn how to transition fluidly from defense ti offense and sustain it throughout an entire fight when he doesnt get his man outta there early. Big respect for both guys and im STILL riding with Gamboa.

bigger fan of crawford tonight. he not only took a very tough fight in gamboa but he finished very strong by stopping him.
i hope he fights someone like algieri next or postol. good fights for him at 140.

I still think Gamboa can beat pretty much anyone in the division.
He'd probably beat Beltran and i don't think Vazquez would be able to out-box him, Gamboa is too fast and athletic.
I think he would KO Figueroa if he doesn't get caught in an exchange.
