    If he is bound to the contract, and being prevented from working because of it, you have to at least pay the guy a separation fee. You can't keep a man from working

        From my assesment, he didnt fired nor prevented to work as CEO. He initiated his separation due to conflict of interests/principles w/ colleague(s) so the company has no obligation in paying him w/o work.
