If it's depending on the outcome of Alvarez/Lara according to Arum why wait so long to make the fight. If he beats Lara this fight needs to happen at the end of the year. All other fights are meaningless and if Arum is so concerned about Canelo losing under his proposal of waiting a year, Canelo would most likely have fought twice more before May.

Mayweather stay ducking the rematch hard so he is out of the picture. Canelo is the best second option but again nothing to gain. He has been beaten before and has no title.

I would honestly look at the 168 picture and try to go for another title.
Cotto is small for 160, y would you even fathom him going to 168??? Cotto isnt crazy! Dont get carried away g.

I'm not sure I understand what is to be gained by fighting Tim Bradley, for Cotto. You have to think that he's at a cashout phase in his career and I don't see this as a big money fight. We all know that all the money lies in matches with either Alvarez, Golovkin, or a Mayweather rematch. I'm also not sure I understand who the **** Bob Arum is to plan anything out for Cotto. Last I checked, Cotto is a free player.

Means nothing but to fight a smaller name and hold onto your title until a mega fight can be made. He's at the point in his career where the focus is on matchmaking and cashing out on titles and money.

Can't say that I blame them, but oh my does Cotto-Bradley make absolutely NO sense but to give Cotto a break by not facing other 160lbers and reward Bradley for his loss with a title shot.

This would be all about Cotto-Canelo preservation.

Arum is just hurting his own fighters while continuing to make a old azs of himself. He destroyed the pac vs mayweather fight, called for a mayweather boycott, and now wants to go head to head with money on conco de mayo. This pld jerk won't learn until he passes away

Who has ever even mentioned Cotto vs Bradley, that would be a huge waste of time and I really hope it doesn't happen. We want to see Cotto vs Golovkin or Cotto vs Canelo or Cotto vs any other entertaining fighter that would actually give a worth while show. I really hope Cotto vs Bradley is just a joke.

Agree wholeheartedly, but I would definitely pay to see a KO by decapitation.

Canelo vs Cotto does 1 million while Floyd vs some old or little dude does 100 thousand if they are held on the same day
