Looked good in his last two, but that was against guys who cannot punch. He could jump in and be wild without having to worry about the slaps coming back his way....how does that style work against someone with legit power?

We'll find out at some point.
Malignaggi "Brook hits harder than me and Alexander combined", yes he made those comments.

Brook isn't the guy to do it though, doesn't set up his offense fast enough but the bold is exactly why I'm not sold.

You know what Brook stylistically isn't a million miles apart from Julio Diaz only he has a far better jab which Porter had fits with in both fights. He controls distance better, has better footwork and balance, timing, speed, power just about everything except experience.

Tell me why Porter wins, what is he going to do? All I hear is he wins inside a few rounds but not one of you has displayed any reasoning for such a bald prediction

Are you banking he walks through Brooks punches like he did Paulie's and tees off inside?

Tell me how Porter is supposed to win this fight.

Porter is the real deal, dunno why people think he's overrated. He's going to beat the garbage out of Kell (I'm willing to bet all my points), Porter is a better boxer than Kell and despite not being a big puncher, he also hits harder than Kell.

You manage to get in almost every post that Bradley ducked Khan but it's not true. Bradley signed with Top Rank to get the far more important fight with Pacquiao for millions of dollars more than he would have made with Khan. Khan is the one ducking all good fighters while he tries to get a jackpot money fight with Manny or Floyd without earning it. Schaefer could have got Khan fights with Thurman, Porter, Alexander or Guerrero but he fights mediocre Collazo instead and tries to tell the world what a monster he beat in Collazo.

            I think Brook will be.

His jab is terrific and packs real power, that alone will be a problem for Porter. His right hand is set-up well off the jab and that is a very, very powerful shot. To get inside Brook you will have to absorb some big shots, and for a short guy like Porter, the jab will be hard to get past...especially as Brook has a good feel for distance.

Put your money where your mouth is if you are so sure on Porter, we can do it through a mod.

                    Don't know.

Brook signed the contract, Porter didn't.

I think it's a very interesting matchup. A lot of people are overlooking Brook. I favor Porter to win but I think it will be a good fight. What do you think of Porter's jab? It's one of his best assets imo. He also has a good sense of distance and solid foot work. Porter's experience should get him past Brook. He won't try to fight Brook the way he fought Paulie either. I see him boxing more and working off his jab.
