I'm assuming now we're going to see Top Rank v. Top Rank and Al Haymon fighter vs. Al Haymon fighter for a while now unless fights like this happen where purse bids are won?
salido who I like was beat up badly at the end by lomo and should have lost. the fat bastard was lucky

Loma has got a good win,Russell was exactly what I thought he was..A bit tougher then I thought(I'll give him that),but there was a reason he was not match tough on the come up..We seen it first hand last night..

Did Russell always throw those arm punches??Not to mention make the Alexander noise when he punches??

I'm still not sold completely. Lomachenko looked too tentative out there against a guy who was throwing pitty-pat shots. He also looked liked he was gassing out a bit.

Lomachenko was clearly the better fighter but Russell Jr has nothing to be ashamed. He was outclassed by a more polished fighter but he didn't wilt. I would love to see them do it again further down in their careers.

Loma's right hook to the body was a beauty though. If he only had a powerful left straight......

Really enjoyed the fight. I've been a fan of Lomo since the Olympics. He's the real deal. Vasyl just needs a little time. He'll be P4P.

Although I've seen Russell fight a few times, I've never heard him speak at length. I like the kid. He's well-spoken and respectful. I felt bad rooting against Gary. lol

We finally got to see what Russ looked like against any kind of good opposition. The results were mixed. Gary didn't look so special against a special fighter. Then again, he proved to be a lot tougher than I ever imagined. Russell will be back. He'd just never fought anyone. Ironically, not until this "amateur."

what it looked like to me, looked like he felt the tempo and was pacing himself
