i take it only as a ploy to bring jmm to realize that since jmm provo will not be very marketable because of the algieri win; that jmm should not be asking for too stiff a price for a 5th showdown with pac.....

Don't think the fans really want to see Pac/Marquez 5. The "hail mary" lucky punch gave Marquez his legacy so he should retire and count his blessings. Those carrot legs and his upper body do not match at all and in fairness I can't say for sure if there was shady practice but IMHO if he does fight again then he needs to be tested for PED's BIG TIME! Boxing does not need more cheating...Margarito was bad enough.

would u get off the lucky punch garbage no more lucky then any other knockout for example do u consider manny punch on hatton lucky? it was perfect form and he was landing the same punch better and better each time for 4 fights timing it a little better each time anyone with an eye could see that. Everyone tries to say he landed the same punch but that was first time he was able to hit him perfect he had been trying since they first met

You are completely missing something called FACTS!

Negotiation #1 was for 50/50. Up until January 2012, everyone including their sister thought that the only roadblock was PEDs testing with no cut-off dates. Once Floyd pretended to want the fight by calling out Manny in the pre-fight meeting with Ortiz, people thought the fight would be made because even Floyd admitted that PEDs testing is no longer an issue.

Early 2012, we heard rumors that Floyd wanted much more than the original 50/50. Everyone was shocked including Floyd fans and wanted to hear it from Floyd's mouth. Then Floyd said "ALL PPV MONEY" ....... Boooom!!!

Correction YOU thought the only roadblock was testing...

Bottom line: PEDinimita Marquez won't fight anyone who has bargaining leverage over him and can demand random-blood testing...

Marquez would rather pick up a few million fighting a handpicked opponent (like Alvarado) in Mexico without testing than fight Pacquiao with VADA testing for much bigger money and a fifth world title in as many divisions...

I'm question whether Marquez has ever actually beaten Pacquiao without cheating because he clearly lost the first two fights...

Marquez wants $20 million. If Pacquiao is too cheap to give that to him then so be it, but don't try to slander Juan by blaming drug testing for why this fight isn't happening.
