It's so funny how u tards get all pissed & butt hurt whenever trainer's and other professional boxers say that Floyd beat Maidana. So are ppl supposed to take and believe the opinion of you high school dropouts and not those who are actual experts?

Mayweather will never fight Cotto @ 160. He barely walks around above 150.

I agree with, Ruben Guerrero. Floyd fought the first fight that way to prove he could. Next fight (if there is one) will be Floyd boxing and moving to a dominant win if not TKO.

That's easy; Mayweather knew he could beat Guerrero!

Hmmm, much of the same. Cotto did some things that bothered Floyd. But the things that he did best against Floyd, Roach doesn't really compliment him stylistically. Cotto actually gave Floyd the most trouble when working behind a double and triple jab. Roach is gonna want him using the jab as a range finder to unload power shots. People thought Cotto had big success when he had Floyd against the ropes. But if you watch the fight, Cotto missed damn near everything and Floyd was countering the hell outta him. Floyd actually had more trouble countering Maidana. Probably because Cotto does everything in rhythm, where Maidana just throws wild shots, not even really caring if they land. I think it would do Cotto some good to work behind multiple jabs. Varying how many he throws. And when Floyd backs himself to the ropes, Cotto throw 2-3 shots at him and then back off and reset. Keeping Floyd against the ropes is only gonna get him countered. Another problem for Cotto is that Floyd showed an ability to hurt him, especially with the right hand. So I'm not sure how committed Cotto would be to pumping out multiple jabs knowing the right hand counter is coming back. That's why varying how many jabs he throws at a given time would be huge to keep Floyd off balanced and make it more difficult to time him.

If Floyd is ever gonna fight for the middleweight title, it will be against Cotto. Cotto isn't a middleweight and Floyd knows he can handle him. I don't think Floyd is overly concerned about fighting a guy he's already beaten, no matter what weight its fought. The only reason Floyd wouldn't take the fight would be because it would open the door for people to call for him to fight GGG, Ward, Hopkins, or any other middleweight or super middleweight or light heavyweight that has expressed a willingness to come down to 160 to fight him. And Floyd simply can't compete with any of the guys I mentioned.

Maidana gets a lot credit for his aggression that what actually landed or landed clean they few and far in between I'm still amazed compubox said he landed 221 punches. It was a great fight to watch he didn't get outclassed but he clearly lost.
