I support Oscar in this but the other promoters and TV networks have to do their part too.

It won't work if De La Hoya is the only one taking any concrete steps to fix boxing.

The cold war started with ODH giving manny the cash to sign with GBP so its only right that he take steps to end it.

The next step is for HBO to officially announce it is no longer banning Haymon fighters ( I assume they will allow GBP fighters) and for Arum and espinoza to grow up and be willing to work together.

You lack perspective, Richard was working hand in hand with the most powerful adviser with connections to networks AND the man leading a premium network, to build the Golden Boy brand. He didnt have to sign those fighters because they were already under contract with Al Haymon therefore Richard could put on these tripleheaders and good shows consistently getting paid by Haymon to promote his fighters. They had a very good thing going which is why Richard was shocked that Oscar would want to change things up, Oscar came across as a person feeling left out and wanting to pull rank. Richard leaving GB has no effect on the cold war because the fighters who would make for interesting matchups with TR are Haymon fighters, not GB fighters.

What people dont understand here is, GRJ, R. Guerrero, Alexander and many other fighters are sign with Haymon but they are and will be fighthing for GBP more than anybody else, because of GBP having the bigest market bihind him (latino) this the net works know, sponsors know.
I remember Leonard Elerbe comming out and say we will never work with GBP we will stand to our word that if Schaefer leaves GBP we would leave him too. What happened three hours later after that statment????? Actually Arum HAS been saying publicly that he has no problem with working with Oscar. That's what started the arguing between Oscar and Schaefer and ultimately the company breakdown.

Sinse when defending your own company from being dismanteled is an ego? Oscar did what he had to do to keep his company going, while Haymon and Schaefer where screwing Oscar bihind his back!! those two guys are the ones causing all this division in boxing.
