I felt that Provo really didn't train all out for this fight and he got a bit outworked. He didn't look as in shape as he has in his fights leading up to this one. His feet were very slow and his hands were a bit slower too.

That's because the fight was in New York. When the announcer introduced Ruslan, some of the fans were already booing him. I think Roach knew that if the fight went to the scorecards in a fairly close bout (as this was), Ruslan would not get the decision. By the way, I completely agree with you about the Hagler- Leonard fight. Hagler did more damage to Leonard.
