Btw, in the Diego chaves fight he showed me how good he is. You might not agree about chaves skill level, but you'll reconsider when you see him fight Rios.
He ALWAYS gets hit. Stop lying on this man. He runs around the ring with a sloppy outside boxing style. And struggles against bums.

I know that Diego is a decent fighter but Thurman didnt impress me enough to jock him the way you all do. This dude is so flawed its insane.

I don't know what the official scores were but I remember Berto looking like crap in that fight so he very well could have lost. Please stop spewing this garbage
Thurman hasnt even fought anyone on the level of Aidyn. And Aidyn didnt stagger Ghost LMAO. Ghost beat that man up you tombout survive GTFO!!! LOL

Berto staggered him and he waked through the shots. Ghost put on a show against Berto and was possessed.

Thurman can barely beat the bums he fights and takes a LONG time to get rid of them. I dunno if he can beat Aiydin and I can see him struggling against Berto. Berto is allot better than the bums that put Thurman through life and death.

Berto stopped and basically battered Zanavick and Thurman actually looked good in that fight but never had the power to phase him. Thats the only time when I saw Thurman actually showing some head movement and skills, although he couldnt stop him.

But after that fight, Thurman showed himself to be a bum that struggles with lower levelers.

And who is this bum that Thurman "barely" knocked out? How do you barely knock someone out? Enlighten me on that. 23 wins, 21 KOs. He's not only doing what he is supposed to do with these tomato cans, but he is also knocking them out. He knocked out (viciously) previously undefeated prospect Diego Chaves, as solid as the come journey man Soto-Karass, and former lightweight champion Julio Diaz. He can only KO who agrees to fight him. It's not his fault he was ducked by Guerrero, Maidana, and Malignaggi and was unable to potentially KO any of them.

        How's that for facts?
Soto. You all talk about Thurman's supposed power. The way you all talk about him you'd think he was Lucasing these guys. He barely gets respect from these guys then lands a good shot in the later rounds.

And yea people have ducked him including Ghost. But now that Im hearing Ghost side of the story Im not too sure about that. I dont see why Ghost would duck Thurman this guy always gets hit and he isnt an aggressive brawler their to show off a chin. He's a little dude trying to avoid shots(and sucking at it)

Why TheF would Ghost duck HIM?!?!?? He SUX!

Where are these fights that Thurman went life and death? I guess breaking a mans ribs (who also happened to be a former champion) in 3 rounds is the new "going life and death."??

Against Soto he was huffing and puffing and barely doing anything. Once in a while he lands some good shots, then goes back to sloppy-boxing/running. Then he lands a good shot and stops you.

He did that with SOTO for godsake. Thurman vs Berto is a 50/50 fight imo.

Dude c'mon he beat Soto handedly. But I'll agree with you on a few things. He does box sloppy at times, like he's over anxious. And he had been cracked good but that's not a bad thing. He needs those things to grow as a fighter. He's still young and he's still a top prospect, there is no denying that. And I don't even dislike Guerrero, I think he is a solid WW. And we are both from the South Bay. I root for him.

There's a lot of Thurman hatin' goin' on! I don't understand why. 23-0 with 21 KOs! We saw guys who did much less get fights (see Rios and Broner). Thurman deserves a shot against Mayweather, Pacquiao, or Khan, this year.

I dont know if its him being anxious its just that he has the in and out movement of an outside boxer, he just doesnt slip, slide, duck, evade, or perry.

Against Zanavick he did real good despite not stopping him. But after that fight he started doing that sloppy mess. Go back and read my comment speaking about his flaws. If he planted his feet he may get more heat on his punches. The running is making his power look non-existent and I dont like the way people talk about him being a KO puncher in those fights. Its blatant overrating

Dude, do you know him personally and have something against him? Which fight did he struggle on? Let me know so I could watch it because I missed it.

I understand the competition he's faced isn't the best, but you can't deny he's talented. Gary Russell Jr hasn't faced anyone good but you can't deny He's talented. Same with wilder, can't deny he has brick hands no matter who he's faced. True boxing fans can acknowledge when a fighter is talented and has a bright future and Thurman deft does
