I didn't score the fight, the first half was Ruslan Battering Algieri the second half was more of Algieri keeping his distance from Ruslan and trying to box but still getting hit occasionally

He outlanded Ruslan in every single round even the first, you score a fight round by round on a point basis, not by damage, Chris outworked and outlanded him, it really seem like alot of people cant grasp that plain ol pressure doesnt win you a fight, its what you do while you're applying that pressure

HOWEVER, I honestly CANNOT find more than 4 rounds to give Algieri.

He got a MARGARITO-Pacquiao esque beatdown last night. There is no way he won that fight.

The third judge had Ruslan ahead by a mile and so did the HBO score keeper. Why shouldn't he disagree with those two judges? If someone is going to score a fight they should score it how they saw it and how others including official judges scored it should not effect how they score it. Two judges had Bradley winning his first fight with Pacquiao but most fans and experts had Pacquiao a clear winner by a large amount. Judges are often wrong.

these judges were clearly corrupt though. prov obviously did much better in the first half yet they gave every round to algeria. then in the second half they started giving rounds to prov in order to make their cards look more reasonable.

I like having those points although I don't know why. My points are a drop in the bucket next to your points and I won't risk all my points on one fight against a skilled fighter like Lara. I think Canelo will KO Lara. Thanks for a polite reply.

Not one mother****er has posted a round by round scorecard yet they all think algieri schooled ruslan..
I have no problem with algieri winning but I had it 114-112 ruslan, basicslly a draw with the knock downs being the deciding factor..
Ruslan clearly won most of the early rounds, I gave rd 2 to chris and he dominated the 2nd half of the fight, but everyone acts like the first 6 rounds didn't happen..

Just makes me think that posters were to eager to see ruslan "exposed", rebelling against the horrible hbo commentary, and only remember the 2nd half of the fight..

I'm a big Ruslan fan. I actually predicted him to stop Algieri in 5. I was way off o obviously. I have no problem with Algieri getting the decision.

how can anyone give algeri the last 2 rounds did you guys know what you're watching? running and feathery jabs should never amount to more points than head knocking power punches and pressure

ontop of that ruslan won rounds 1-3 if you add it up thats already ruslans fight even if you give all the rest of the close rounds to algeri which he lost a couple more inbetween

seriously tho whats the criteria to become a boxing judge? they are just letting random half blind old people who never went a round try to decide a fight? its just not right
