1 of the judges had algeri winning 5 of the first 6. the other had him winning 4 out of the first 6. how can you disagree with that...
The third judge had Ruslan ahead by a mile and so did the HBO score keeper. Why shouldn't he disagree with those two judges? If someone is going to score a fight they should score it how they saw it and how others including official judges scored it should not effect how they score it. Two judges had Bradley winning his first fight with Pacquiao but most fans and experts had Pacquiao a clear winner by a large amount. Judges are often wrong.
in the poll about who won its basically 2-1 that chris won, which would make it a split decision for 3 judges.. I think its fair to say that ruslan could have won a 114-112 decision,, the 117-109 score is awful
Yea but he said its a 50-50 split. Which is false. Last I checked Algieri was up like 130 to 50. Thats far from 50-50.

Stop talking out of your ass Mr Boxrec. Theres no 50/50 split. Check the poll. Algieri is ahead by a landslide.
The 50 50 statement was just a guess and I didn't see a poll. The poll probably does reflect how the average fan saw the fight. I am not ashamed to use boxrec to check a fighter's record and see where they rank him. Why should I be? You don't need to be such a rude A HOLE about it unless that's just the way you are. I think you are a fan of Lara. Would you like to bet some points on him in his fight with Canelo, Mr. ASSS HOLE?
I think its pretty clear, after round 1 Ruslan won maybe 2 rounds at best and Chris took every other round, maybe not clean but he outlanded the crap out of Ruslan, soft punches but they count. If Boxing matches were won simply by the guy who hits harder the whole course of Boxing history would be altered, but then again the people on here crying robbery are the same ones who believe Maidanas 4 rounds were enough to beat floyd, so its clearly a bias towards styles, if you wanna see brutes go watch MMA, give me the sweet science.

I already bet 100T on Lara. I have nothing to prove. Im not interested unless you're willing to put all points on the line.
This fight leaves alot of options to score the fight as you can clearly see here on the forum and from the different media outlets. Most of the boxing sites had Prov winning about 114:112. I would have given the fight a Draw just because i found it extremely hard to score and can understand both sides. I can understand that people are having Algieri winning most of the rounds and i can also understand the people that give it to Ruslan, it just depends what kind of style you prefer mostly and there is no real wrong way of scoring this specific fight.
One thing though: Ruslan was the champion and Algieri never seemed to fight like he wanted to take the title from Ruslan. He seemed like he fought to survive and tried to outpoint Ruslan with quickness and movement. His punches didnt really have an effect on the champion unlike the other way around. My heart wanted to give that fight to Ruslan because he is a very limited fighter with a huge heart and he kept moving forward and kept chasing Algieri around the ring, but technically Algieri was better and hit Ruslan more often and made it to the final bell after the beatdown in the first round.
