Seeing some of the names who voted for Provodnikov, cant say I'm surprised.

The people have spoken. Landslide for Algieri.

I was at the fight, I had it 113-113 a draw and most people I spoke to there scored it for Prov, despite the vocal Algieri cheering section. I didn't have a problem with the 114-112 Algieri scorecard though, if you couldn't score draws and had to name a winner it would probably be Algieri, he did more over the course of those 12 rounds.

What fight was every one watching? Algieri showed tons of heart but after every round you have to ask your self, who would you rather have been? Who landed the more significant meaningful punches?

Yes Algeiri threw a ton of punches and landed more but at any point in the fight, did you feel like Ruslan was in trouble? Did the arm punches ever stop Ruslan from coming forward? Both guys fought a hell of a fight but Ruslan was the clear winner in my eyes.

i saw it as a draw, 7-5 to algeiri but the two kds were enough to keep provo in it.

"who would you rather have been" isn't a scoring criteria, mr. kellerman

neither guy landed more effective punches than the other, as neither guy had to make any real adjustments. Algieri fought rd1-12 the exact same way, and he clearly outlanded ruslan in every round. Busting a guys face up doesn't make your punches more effective if it isn't deterring your opponent

I'm still confused at where all these huge shots from provo were at? He wasn't landing like some of you seem to be suggesting.

Seriously, all those "monster" shots were hardly budging or slowing Algieri dowm...meanwhile Provodnikov is getting his head bopped around like a bobblehead doll.
