Stevenson got LESS to fight Fonfara than he would've for fighting Kovalev you fool. Kovalev was ready to fight Stevenson after he fought Bellew & Kovalev fought Sillakh (on the same card, remember... it was supposed to be a LHW tournament, with the winners facing each other), but Stevenson ran to Showtime.

The HBO deal was for a 3 fight deal. And it was a ****ty deal. Stevenson and his promoter didn't like the deal before they got Haymon involved. Only a light weight promoter would've accepted it. My point about Pacquiao was spot on. If it's over your head than a simple I don't understand would've been sufficent enough for me.

You don't know ****. It was a 3 fight deal that included Fonfara and Kovalev. And the deal ******. Showtime gave him 40% more to face Fonfara. There's no long term contract with Showtime so he can still fight Kovalev. HBO needs to make that fight now. If they wait until Stevenson sparks out Hopkins it's going to cost them even more.
Truth is HBO should've signed Stevenson to a multi fight deal last year but the dropped the ball. Now it's gonna cost them double it would've a year ago. Somebody at HBO isn't on top of there ****.
