He sounds confident, but Agnew was confident too.

This is what happens when the entire division is ducking you. Same case with Golovkin.

They'll have to keep fighter WHOEVER is willing to get inside a ring with them.

Kovalev is average at best. With a little bit of pop. He's beaten nobodies. His only decent win was against Cleverly who's more model than fighter. Nobody else he fought is even creditable.

Same goes for Stevenson - beaten absolutely nobody. And he's terrified of Kovalev. Let's not forget that.

Interviewer: Would you like to fight Hopkins?

Stevenson: Yes absolutely! Who wants to see me fight Hopkins?!

          Interviewer: What about Kovalev?

Stevenson: Oh ummm... I'll talk to Al Haymon

Reminds me a lot of Pacquiao back in the day coming up.

Don't tell us, tell Stevenson. Maybe you can persuade him to stop running and take the fight that we all want to see.

Why am I not surprised that "Pan Africanist" thinks Stevenson will win easily. Lol granted there are many "Pan Europeanists" who think Kovalev will win for the same reason, but still.

The racial rooters are lame regardless of what color they are....

Don't get me wrong I do think Stevenson has a legit shot to win (I would make it a 50/50 fight or maybe 55/45 slight advantage for Kovalev to win) but I don't see an easy fight for either guy...

How the hell has Adonis beat?? A washed up Chad Dawson and a very overrated Tavoris Cloud (who lost to Campillo)....Other than that he has fought nobody of note.....Take a way his win over a washed up Dawson and his resume is equal to Kovalevs.

Both Kovalev and Adonis are a bit overrated....Both are GOOD fighters, but they both have weaknesses that can be exploited by either guy and by other fighters....It's a 50/50 fight with maybe a SLIGHT edge for Kovalev to win....But in reality, both guys can win if they come on point...

The are both managed by Duva...

Duva likely didn't want Kovalev and Chilemba fighting....Since they are both her top fighters....I'm sure he would have no problem fighting him, but Duva wants to milk them both for alittle bit more and then possibly match them up....

Hopkins just recently lost twice to Chad Dawson and now beats 3 average guys and everyone acts like he's back on top....Stevenson is good, but as Fonfara showed he can definitely be beaten and the same goes for Kovalev.....He can be beaten aswell.

You haters and your logic forever amuses me. Manny Pacquiao turns down a 40 million dollar offer and nobody says a word. In fact you convince yourself it's Floyd that doesn't want the fight. Stevenson turns down a terrible offer and he's the one ducking? Sure race has nothing to do with it.
