Kovalev is the one who's protected and picks bums. Chilemba is scheduled to appear on the undercard...why isn't he Kovalev's opponent? He'd be much more interesting than this nobody. Kovalev will be exposed as a one dimensional robot when he finally gets Stevenson or Hopkins.

I doubt he's "terrified" of Kovalev if he's looking to fight Bernard soon, but he likely won't fight Sergey unless he gets more money for it than he could get in any other fight....Which is the smart business thing to do obviously.

If he can get more money fighting Kovalev than anyone else I'm sure he will accept...

Animosity towards Kovalev and GGG?? If anything they seem to get more love than they really deserve....By hypejob fanboys like yourself who are just as ****** and racially biased as "Pan Africanist" is.

And it's not only White fighters who get this hype job treatment....I've noticed that Black FOREIGN fighters get alot of unearned hype aswell....Guys like Lara and Rigo get hyped a ton by fanboys...It's only Black American fighters (and likely White American fighters) and standard Mexican fighters who don't get hyped by the dumb fanboy boxing fans...

I think its because people have seen tons of Black/White American and Mexican fighters so they aren't as "cool or unique" to root for as a foreign Black or White guy....or even a Latino from a country thats not Mexico.....

Stevenson got LESS to fight Fonfara than he would've for fighting Kovalev you fool. Kovalev was ready to fight Stevenson after he fought Bellew & Kovalev fought Sillakh (on the same card, remember... it was supposed to be a LHW tournament, with the winners facing each other), but Stevenson ran to Showtime.

Dude a standard African American fighter that we've seen 1000's of times just isn't "cool or unique" enough for the fanboy hipster boxing fans to root for....He has to be a foreign Black from Cuba or Venezuela or something to be hyped up...

If Deontay Wilder was a Black Cuban or something cool (and not commonly seen in boxing) like that he would be getting the GGG hype train aswell...Since in reality they have had very similar career as of now....Knocking out C and B level fighters but never having faced an A level opponent....But Wilder is just your typical standard Black American fighter so it's not cool or hip to root for him....Thats why he gets only 1/10th the hype that GGG gets.

Same with Kovalev...If he was just an American Whiteboy from Iowa and not a cool exotic foreign fighter from Russia he wouldn't be getting hyped up so much....He's very good, but like GGG and Wilder still unproven against A level competition because he hasn't fought A level competition.

Everyone's running from him. What's he supposed to do? Ward isn't moving up, Stevenson is terrified & Pascal wants nothing to do with him. He's fighting what's available (in other words, those who have the balls to step in the ring with him).
