Agreed. Big, slow, physical... making it akward and ugly.

He's 3 big options - Canelo, Floyd or GGG.

But since Floyd isn't available in December and GGG is guaranteed to Good Boy him, Canelo is surely top of the list.

lara though could through a spanner in the works. If he beats Canelo I'm not sure what happens then ... will we have Cotto v lara?

Best option for Miguel Cotto next:

                1. Mayweather Jr.: Mayweather beat Cotto last time around but it was a close fight. Some can argue Cotto won that fight. Now Cotto shown much improvement under Roach. So it's logical that may boxing fans thinks Cotto have much higher chance in beating Mayweather Jr. in second fight. I don't see any problem making a Mayweather vs Cotto Rematch. First Cotto can offer Floyd a chance to be a 6 division champion. That's is if Floyd has the balls to fight at Middleweight. They can fight at Junior Middleweight if Mayweather prefer it. Second, Cotto is Free Agent (not contractually link to Arum's Top Rank).

If I'm Mayweather, I'll accept the Rematch knowing that I already beat Cotto the first the around. And my mentality is no matter what weight class, I can beat you. It will be a sure Box Office.

Some Floyd Fans already saying that the Rematch result will not be different!
So it's really intriguing the second fight plays out!

But then there's a Mayweather side of being a chicken, he may duck The Roach's Cotto version and come up with unheard excuses!

                2. Canelo Alvarez: At Junior Middleweight, it's s natural fight! This is Cotto's best option if Mayweather b"tch out! Both are fighters have aggressive fighting style. So everyone can expect EXPLOSION!

                3. 3G: This is very intriguing fight! Golovkin is a legitimate Middleweight Champion much like Martinez. Here, Cotto will be given a chance to prove he's for real a Middleweight Champion. We some people have doubts wether Cotto beat the real Martinez or beat one legged Martinez!

Fans should demand a Cotto-Mayweather Rematch if Mayweather is still unwilling to fight the PacMan!

I re-watched this fight the other night, and no, you can't argue that Cotto won the fight vs. Mayweather. Mayweather dominated him. Cotto did hurt him a couple times, and did a lot of damage. To me, the fight was another version of Mayweather-Maidana. However, the difference was that Mayweather was opening up a LOT more with power shots to keep Cotto at bay, something he lacked against Maidana. This leads me to believe a rematch could potentially be different, with Cotto seeming to have improved, and Mayweather (based on the Maidana performance) could be digressing, leaving him vulnerable to a loss in the rematch. It would be closer than the first fight.

He will go the safe route in December and fight Rubio. Rubio by ko.
rodriguez was a tune up fight, and a "shot" martinez, nobody really gave any chance to cotto winning that fight. Regardless, his knees and hands where fine, it was that thunderous left hook in the first round that messed up his equilibrium up and just couldnt recover. Styles makes fights. Learn that please.
