Canelo would make the most since if it's gonna be in December, but it sounds like arum wants to milk cotto at least once before fighting canelo.. I can see Rubio fight happening as a stay busy fight for cotto and have the canelo fight next May or june

Fighting rubio could backfire just like fighting trout did. Its either canelo or GGG. Cotto is coming off a huge win so strike while the iron is hot, why potentially ruin it by fighting rubio?

Cinco de mayo is Floyd's date. I highly doubt they're seriously considering that date. .I say cotto vs canelo if he wins in December. If canelo losses, which I think he will, then cotto GGG.. but im hoping for cotto's sake he doesn't consider that GGG fight

Canelo would be nice, but they want it for May and that's not a bad idea. I expect Canelo to beat Lara and continue to build steam towards the ultimate Mexico-PR clash in 2015.

Rubio is his mandatory for the WBC and has been for a long time. He's been getting paid step aside money since the Chavez Jr. at least and had to deal with Sergio's injuries. It's not a big name or a PPV, but that's not the end of the world. He can fight on regular HBO with Pacquiao-Provodnikov PPV replay
