Winnable fights are against Rubio or Canelo but between the two, Rubio will be more tougher since Marco knows how to box with good defense. Cotto should avoid Lara, Mayweather ain't going to give Cotto a rematch. Cotto will KTFO Jr and TMT knows it.

I know he won't do it, but I would love to see Cotto vs. Kirkland. I don't know why he's not getting fights, but James Kirkland is a beast, and would be a formidable opponent for Cotto or GGG.

Cotto beat Delvin Rodrigues and a shot Sergio Maritinez in his last 2 fights. Dan Rafael has him rated at #1 at Middleweight. I would like to see him fight the #2 ranked middleweight GGG. Cotto won't be foolish enough for that. Fight with Mayweather won't happen unless he thinks Mayweather got old. He will go the safe route in December and fight Rubio. Rubio by ko.

I think Cotto should take care of the Rubio mandatory, sharpen up at 160 and with Roach, and then sit down with either Canelo or Mayweather for 5 de mayo.

The list for Cotto is long. Great for Boxing! 2014 is turning out to be a BIG comeback year for the sport even with the HW division absent.

Yes it's a good year I agree, and as for who Cotto's fighting next. We have to keep in mind that this stage in his career he doesn't do stay busy fights so that eliminate a possible Rubio bout. Thats why the long break between fights to make every fight count. And only Cotto and Roach get to decide who his next opponent not Arum. (He's a free agent)
