Truth is we don't know that we can only go with what we've seen. And the first fight was entertaining and no where near close.

Some of the things that the "typical" posters post amuse me, I use to be like what are these guys hatin on Floyd for, but now I know why....this version of Cotto will do no better than the first fight.. First off, Floyd won't fight the same fight. Secondly, you can't really judge how much better Cotto is by beating Delvin Rodriguez and a 60% Martinez.....Cotto now still loses to Floyd, Trout, Canelo, and Manny.

Trout would get steamrolled just like Martinez, if Cotto wants a tune up in December and Canelo in May it should be Trout. He had a bad... terrible night, **** happens and he dumped the guy who was having him run 8 miles a day 6 days a week and sparring like crazy. If you can't see an improvement in Cotto's physique, power and conditioning because of Roach and Gavin you are nothing but a hater. This Cotto at 150+ would put Manny to sleep just like Marquez, go seriously watch the Cotto/Manny fight and then look at the Martinez version, they are completely different fighters.

I'll give you Floyd beating Cotto, but I want to see Canelo vs Lara before making a prediction. Even though Canelo beat a fighter, even more shot than Martinez and 10x's less skilled than him. Canelo deserves really no credit for beating a crappy, extremely shot version of Margarito, how many of you pumped up that win and are hating on Cotto for beating Martinez?

Haha... Bull****. Seriously cotto got worked in the first fight. He hit Floyd hard once in 11th or 12th can't recall the exact round. It is crazy how everyone could watch the same fight and see something different. And Marcos same deal, he was not hitting him clean. In the 3rd round chino rocked him with an over hand right. Btw notice how Floyd's cut did not open after his cut man fixed it. Hence chino did not hit him and if he was a smart he would have attacked that cut for the rest of the night. Considering how bothered may was when the cut first happened. you cant hit someone when you throw punches with your eyes closed. floyd's arms and shoulders took a beating...

Sorry to break it to you Fl*mos but the Cotto fight was not easy for Floyd, it was his toughest fight ever from his own mouth.

Cotto is much better offensively under roach, and with the extra weight and Floyd aging, cotto has a serious chance to beat Floyd. Doubt it would be by ko, but I can see cotto beating up Floyd if Floyd slows down due to age

I don't see how you could see that? I mean I don't see how anyone can see that. Cotto have Floyd a tough fight the first go around and still lost 8 rounds. We saw Cotto come out against two guys so far and now he's a new and improved fighter?

I'm all for a rematch cause it'll be exciting, but I don't see this fight going any differently than the last one. Cotto looked good against an aged and rusty fighter.
