Some of the things that the "typical" posters post amuse me, I use to be like what are these guys hatin on Floyd for, but now I know why....this version of Cotto will do no better than the first fight.. First off, Floyd won't fight the same fight. Secondly, you can't really judge how much better Cotto is by beating Delvin Rodriguez and a 60% Martinez.....Cotto now still loses to Floyd, Trout, Canelo, and Manny.

Agreed. The Floyd that got hit over 220 times against Maidana would be in serious trouble against this version of Cotto at 155-156. Hence, Mayweather would never consider taking this fight again.

Expect Mayweather-Maidana II if Mayweather can get Maidana to wear the pillows for gloves or Mayweather v. Garcia (who is really coming off of a loss).

Cotto can't do much different from the 1st fight. He fought his heart out he fought the best fight he could at his best weight and still was dominated. Enough said. He won't win...that simple

You are probably right about hitting Floyd, but Cotto didn't apply A TON of pressure aside from Rounds 5 and 8. Also Roach will have him in much better shape than the Cuban did, if he pressures the entire fight and doesn't get tired...

I have never picked against Floyd, I'm not going to until he actually suffers a loss. But I have always thought the ONLY person who can beat Floyd is Cotto because of his style. He has a stiff hard jab, and vicious left hook to the body and the head. His right hand has never great but Floyd makes your right hand useless anyway. I'd favor Floyd but it's a 51/49 fight in my eyes and only because Floyd has a 0 still.

he didn't say beat. he said ko. time and again countless fighters have been outboxed only to score a ko in a fight. he got to floyd when they fought. it's not unreasonable to assume that he think he's a stronger fighter with roach, and thus, have enough power to ko floyd.

Um, generally when you ko a guy, they also give you the win.
