My father is a huge fight fan and has been watching since the 70s. Honestly, I don't remember a time when I wasn't a fan of boxing. I remember as a kid staying up watching fights with him. The first fight I remember watching live, though the memory is vague at this point, is the third Holyfield-Bowe fight. I was 7.

Also, I remember rooting for Bowe because I liked the nickname Big Daddy, haha.

First big fight I watched was De La Hoya vs Mayweather , actually thought Oscar won at the time, that was 07. So I was 13 so you'll have to forgive me. But it was videos of Miguel Cotto that got me hooked. I just taught he was the baddest man on the planet. It's been a good 7 years since. Looking forward to a hell of a lot more . Joys of being young

Lucian Bute vs Jean Pascal early this year. Romanian Pride! Been following boxing feverishly since then, planning on starting Boxing sometime soon.

I remember watching a lethargic Ali vs Spinks 1 at my babysitters house when I was like 8. Later on watching Leonard vs Hearns 1, when I was like 11. Through the early 80's I would always check out top rank boxing on espn. In the late 80's it was all about Tuesday Night Fights! Also, Tyson, from 86' onward. I always loved boxing. I saw Holyfield vs Qawi 1 on live network tv. In February of 2000, I had the pleasure of catching Morales vs Barrera 1 on HBO, I felt like I was on drugs watching that fight, It was Incredible! Since then I have been more of a hardcore fan, and collected over 500 fights on vhs during the early 2000's and still follow boxing to this day.

It was during my freshman/sop****re years in college when I saw Pacquiao fight Barrera I, JMM I, etc that got me more into the sport than a regular casual. This was a little over 10 years ago

Watching the rocky movies as a small child in early 80s and then in the late 80s when I was 7,8,9 years old, I loved all the huge personalities and stars at the time, and loved the nicknames like marvelous Marvin, sugar Ray, Hitman, macho camacho, boom boom Mancini, sweet pea, real deal, iron mike, beast, etc
Plus as a kid I was fascinated by Chavez undefeated streak..

My dad watched it in the living room, I would hang out there watching anything he watches as a child. He had the "black box" so we saw all of those popular PPV's of the 90s of Tyson/Lewis/Holyfield/DLH.
