Tommy Hearn's has to rate higher.

He fought the very best within his division.

I am biased as he is my favorite boxer of all time, I grew up watching the Hitman.

IMO Floyd is not fit to lace Hearn's gloves.

The fact that he almost outboxed SRL for some 10 rounds speaks volumes and leading up to that fight he had won all but one fight by KO. Hearns is a great, great fighter.
Faster? P4P? Doubtful. Mayweather at 130 was lightning quick

How is Hearns' resume better? He has the better top win but overall Mayweather has consistently been in with very good opposition.

Wait a second, so now we are talking about 130???? So that means we are using the 130 equivalent of Hearns!! If so, you can practically double Hearns' already lightning fast 147 pound version to an even faster 130 pound version.

It is way better. Hearns was on a mission to prove himself against the best. Mayweather is more concerned about making money and staying unbeaten.

You left off Hearns moving up to light heavy and stopping Dennis Andres who himself later regained the title twice. Hearns also took on the #1 undefeated middleweight contender James Shuler, whom he took out in one round. There really is no comparison.

But if it makes you feel better Mayweather has a better resume than Sven Ottke.

Accomplishment wise, i go with Mayweather

Yes their was the IBF, WBA,WBC, and WBO when Hearns was around even though people want to act like their wasnt

In less fights than Hearns, Mayweather won more title fights, beat more champions, titlists, and hall of famers, won more lineal titles, won all his super fights and is still doing so at 37...When Hearns was 37 he didnt have anymore big wins or meaningful ones
Why cant you just list who they fought and beat when comparing? why use "titlists, HOFers "super fights" instead? And since are we comparing what fighters did at certain ages? All you need is WHO they fought and WHEN. That way you dont give credit for beating an aging HOF or a divisional/lineal win over a lesser fighter.

Hearns faced MUCH tougher comp than Floyd did. There is no comparison when you look at the actual fighters.

What exactly does that mean specifically?

Just look at his opponent list. Hearns/ first big win was Cuevas ffs. Cuevas lost damned near every time he stepped up

                      Hearns would die making 130
