But that deadly right hand would be some sight if he landed flush on Mayweather.

I know this wasn't a fantasy fight, but I turned it into one.

Mayweather will never land punches on hearns if he fight the way he always does. hearns will pick him apart from the distance just like hearns do to leonard in their first fight. leonard win because he change his gameplan and switch to brawler mode. infact hearns 4 loses come from brawler and not just a brawler but "FOTY" brawler.

He'd survive for a while, but the amount of stamina it would take for Floyd to pitch a complete shut out on a guy like Hearns, would require something beyond epic. He'd be bending, pivoting, dodging, punching back, turning, ducking, back pedaling at a pace he couldn't keep up. Corrales got Floyd on the ropes. Hearns would get him there, and finish him, and have his length all over him for every second of the fight.
WTF do you smoking?? did u ever watch hearns fight?? when did hearns ever stalking his opponent like that dumb coralles?? hearns use his long jabs hammering his opponent face in the middle of the ring and that long legs to cut-off the ring.
do you think manny steward gonna waste away that awesome body?

I voted Mayweather, but thinking about it - I think they are pretty close.

Maybe giving the edge to the hitman for fighting guys in their prime.

              Hearns fought the best.

              Mayweather ducked the best.

Hearns, there ain't no doubt about it, stronger, faster, hit harder and bigger than Mayweather with a better resume and greater risk taking.

The fact that he almost outboxed SRL for some 10 rounds speaks volumes and leading up to that fight he had won all but one fight by KO. Hearns is a great, great fighter.

Close and I might give the edge to Mayweather, but one thing I do know is that Floyd would've got KO'd if they ever fought at 147.

Come on, Hearns is very obviously greater than Floyd Mayweather.
