H2H I pick Hearns and twice on sunday...mayweather started at 130, hearns at 147 and competed at a world class level way up to 175 and he 6'1"...Mayweather is great but everyone has their limitations

Accomplishment wise, i go with Mayweather

Yes their was the IBF, WBA,WBC, and WBO when Hearns was around even though people want to act like their wasnt

In less fights than Hearns, Mayweather won more title fights, beat more champions, titlists, and hall of famers, won more lineal titles, won all his super fights and is still doing so at 37...When Hearns was 37 he didnt have anymore big wins or meaningful ones

Hearns would stop Mayweather early. The problem for Floyd is he is not an inside fighter in the middle of the ring, only with his back against the ropes, and Hearns was own him middle ring. And there is no way Mayweather would be able to get past that jab even if he were an inside fighter. That's leaves no game plan for Floyd. Those punches that Mosley, Judah, and Corley hurt Mayweather with would be nothing compared to a right hand of Hearns. Hearns was lighting fast, huge, powerful. Make them both natural lightweights and Hearns would still have the style that would harm Mayweather.

And we have to remember one HUGE factor in all of this. Hearns wouldn't respect Floyd at all. He'd literally walk up to him, and start slinging power punches til one of them connected.

Styles go out the window. With someone that long, fast, powerful, and physically gifted, there's nothing Floyd could've done.

He'd survive for a while, but the amount of stamina it would take for Floyd to pitch a complete shut out on a guy like Hearns, would require something beyond epic. He'd be bending, pivoting, dodging, punching back, turning, ducking, back pedaling at a pace he couldn't keep up. Corrales got Floyd on the ropes. Hearns would get him there, and finish him, and have his length all over him for every second of the fight.

Hearns all day. Faced MUCH greater competition and would take Mayweather in an actual fight.

Tough, stopping Roberto and dancing on Benitez is a tall order to compare to.
