Basically Floyd will be fighting at 147 and forcing his opponent to fight at 147 also... which is a huge catch weight for a 154 pound fight...
This is just a disguised catch weight fight for the 154 pound title... and a lame attempt at trying to act like Floyd is accomplishing something..it's just a gimmick to sell the fight...
This is not historical and no one with half of a brain will care about this kind of "achievement" it's meaningless...it's a Welterweight fight essentially...
An accomplishment would have been moving up to Middleweight and trying to win a 6th title..then Floyd would only be two behind Manny...
possible.

The Leonard fight was a bull**** trick. You are not fighting for the light heavyweight title if the weight limit is 168. That is a super middleweight fight, period. In my book Leonard never was a light heavyweight champion because he never fought a light heavyweight in his life. Hearns did win the light heavyweight title by beating the champ at the full 175 pounds two different times. If Mayweather is not going to defend his 154 pound world title against top challengers who are allowed to weigh in at the full 154 pounds then he should give the title up. Making Canelo fight at a catch weight of 152 with the world title at stake was BS.

Floyd is just having a Welterweight fight nothing more...it's a way for Floyd to present a gimmick, hold on to a title without actually having to actually fight at 154... nothing more than that...there is nothing epic about it... just stop seriously LOL...
And a fight vs Pac at 147 for all 3 titles (if its allowed) would not be historic in its own right?
I'm not even giving my opinion, I'm talking about general consensus, that is what fans will feel like.
