I don't get it... how can you defend both in one night? How is a fight at 147, fighting for the 154 championship? This is just a cop out excuse for the WBC not to strip Floyd of the belt for not defending it properly.

This seems more apparent when you consider noone on the top 15 Welterweight WBC rankings also appears on the top 15 Junior Middleweight WBC rankings.... I assume the WBC will just rank the opponent there to 'legitimise' the excuse

If he defends both titles at once the fight has to be at 147. Its just a gimmick. Both titles are on the line but the fight is at welterweight. $h!t, the maidana fight could of been for both titles.

My only guess is he will try to put all the titles on the line against cotto's mw title. That's a lot of hardware in one fight. That's the only thing that makes sense. One guy holds every major title in 3 divisions.
