I saw on twitter earlier that he offered Sergio Mora a fight and when Sergio said yes, he pulled it and gave the fight to a JMW..... a joke... a complete Joke.

      Callum Smith, Rising British prospect.

I think he'll pursue that. He's on the tail end of his career and no point to chase another title... especially if he has to go through an eliminator. He could probably set that in Germany if they try hard enough because evidently there's demand for that

I think Lemuix didn't want it because.

          A) He's getting Quillin next for the Stevenson/Hopkins undercard
          B) He'd have to travel to Germany
i think he is close to getting quillen, if he wants to beat sturm he would have to do it by KO anyways. i know there are other issues about going to germany than the judges, but thats always the main part and if he wants to win he has to take them out of the equation imo regardless of where the fight is at.

stevens is kind of a fool but i always enjoy watching him fight, he may be one of the two or three best MWs on the planet too. i mean he lost to golovkin but so would any other MW. him against sturm would make for an interesting fight.

I'm pretty sure it is Paul Smith Abraham is likely to fight next not Callum Smith.

I wouldn't rank him that high. Did you watch his last fight? Was a minute away from losing a wide UD against a guy who wasn't that great, when he pulled a come-from-behind KO.

                  And I like him.

Interesting fight should have fun in Germany after he celebrates a win.

Nobody noticed the hookah in his pic no wonder he has stamina issues lungs too clogged.

The first time I watched the fight I thought Stevens needed a KO to win.

But then I rewatched the fight, and then watched Connor Reubuch's analysis on badlefthook, and the fight was a lot closer than it should have been. Stevens was doing a lot of good work on the inside that he wasn't given credit for. Johnson had a hard time establishing range, he would put Stevens on the ropes but he was so close to him that he could only hit his arms.

I think if they rematched Stevens would ice him again.
