Yeah he's a idiot for seeing the writing on the wall. GB most likely won't have a legitimate roster besides Canelo, and if Oscars the CEO there's a good chance it'll take awhile to get things running again if it evens happens at all.

There's no feelings/ emotions in business that's seems to be the reason Oscars in the position because he let his pride / feelings get in the way of the bigger picture.

I was kinda glad Jhonny Gonzalez starched Mares in the 1st round but now that I think about both fighters haven't down jack since that fight. It's like both of them want the easy way out.

How did Floyd become a part of this thread? Maybe Mares likes Schaeffer (cuz' he was runnin' ****) more than Oscar (who was faded in the "telly" in a fish net body suit? It seems most of the talent at GBP was cool with Schaeffer and Haymon more than Oscar. Is that a coincidence?

yeah, and Haymon sure had Maidana's back when it came to the glove issue. NOT

(THAT is why it is impossible for a manager to adequately represent both sides of a fight)

I used to write for Leave It In The Ring and FightJunkieBoxing back in 2009 - 2013 and was based in the Los Angeles/ SGV area. Frank Sr. and Frankie Jr. were two of the coolest dudes in the business and regularly gave me access to their fighters for interviews/ coverage.
I cant even begin to explain how much Frank and Frankie cared for Abner, he was their #1 fighter on their team and they showed it!
If you looked at Frankie's FB page back in the day he was constantly dropping by the Maywood Boxing Club to see Mares train while in camp.
If Mares is really trying to break away from Espinoza Mngmt. its a damn shame; its like trying to break apart from your own blood-family.

This makes no sense he wants to do business with TR the other big promoter in the sport to make the best fights while **** Schaefer wants to stick to his selfish personal agenda and hinder the sport.
