But I'm still not 100% sold on him.

He's obviously very good and very very skilled but I'd like to see how he deals with a top pressure fighter with power, someone like Kiko Martinez for example.

I've never seen how he'd handle that style.
Kiko ain't fit enough to carry Rigo's spitbucket, never mind sharing a ring with him.

In 400 odd amateur fights don't you think someone has tried to knock his head off lol? Fair enough it ain't professional but come on,Your kidding right?

He embarrassed Donaire. Who has Fraud fought in his 12th fight?

Rigo 2 gold medals. Fraud 0

More about the style. Kiko obviously isn't as skilled as Riongdeaux but he's aggressive, can cut off the ring and get inside and has power in both hands and a good chin. I've never seen how Rigondeaux can handle that.

He might have done it as an amateur but it's completely different in the pros.

so rigo is a hypejob because he was a great amateur but hasnt done anything in the pro ranks, then you go on to say loma will destroy him?

          what a joke.

i like loma dont get me wrong, im just talking about the hypocrisy.

rigo has clearly proved himself. he dominated a top 5 p4p, multi division champion who hasnt lost since his second fight. shut out a very good champion in agbeko and beat a couple of other top 10 guys in his division.

obviously his resume isnt that deep, but he only had 13 fights. how deep do you expect it to be?

if you stopped being ******ed and looked at the top 10 p4p list you would quickly realize guys like froch, canelo and wlad dont have a single win against a top 10 p4p fighter. rigo beat the only one anywhere near his weight in the top 10, the closest guy to him currently on the p4p list is a welterweight.

mares is the only other guy he could have fought thats been in the p4p discussion, but he was on the list for like 6 months.

When Rigo fought Donaire everyone said he was a pressure fighter and as soon as he lands its over and when he fought Agbeko people said the same thing because he threw over 1000 punches vs Mares but as soon as they get hit with the first shot they dont see or try to hit him and he's not there they either shell up(Agbeko) or follow him around the ring and do **** all(Donaire) and the same thing will happen if he fights Frampton,Santa cruz etc he is just too good.

Yes i agree it's not the pro's but some top top amateurs don't even turn pro.I think he is simply to good for his own good.

Having a pedigree like he has and dominating the fighters he's fought,no one will beat him.Christ,he can't even get matched now and he's only had 13 fights lol.

There ain't one style that will trouble him what the fighters in and around his division will bring.Out of the 80 odd rounds he's done i would like to see how many he has lost.

And let me guess, Mayweather gave Corrales a boxing clinic and was an entirely exciting fight to watch, right?

His style isn't fan friendly at all and he has zero personality which makes him impossible to promote. As far as skill goes, he is by far one of the highest skilled boxers in the game right now.

Not a hype job at all but he should be chasing big fights, calling people out or moving up in weight if needs be. He can't sit around expecting everything to be handed to him on a plate.

I'd love to see how Rigo handles Martinez, Frampton, Mares, Santa Cruz, any serious fighter. The guy just can't get a fight. That's the sad part. It's not like he's avoiding anyone. Guillermo honestly believes he's the best. Frankly, so do I.

I think he's the best aswell around that weight. I would pick him to win all of those fights most definitely.

I just want to see how he handles a different style against a top level guy. The Martinez fight is what I wanted it's a shame that won't happen, unless he beats Frampton in the rematch.
