I like Freddie, but that's a pretty lame thing for him to say. For a trainer to have never watched a single fight of one of the top guys in the division his star pupil now fights in is a sign of him not doing his homework.
It was clear that Martinez had lost a step, or two. But part of that might have been due to Cotto's quick and successful attack. Either way, Cotto has shown that he can hang with the very best in the division and is one of the guys to beat now.

I want Cotto to avenge that loss! No way Trout beats Cotto now.

People getting abit overexcited after Cotto who has huge balls, big massive balls...
Humongous balls, thats no lie...
beat a inactive past his best Martinez, GGG is a real MW, not some ex WW,LMW... a true MW who brings real SMW power, the minute Cotto feels his power he will just want to survive and thats about it really.

Can anyone on here name me one hall of fame class fighter that GGG has fought? Scratch that, name me just one great champion that he has fought. GGG could only hope to have as good of a career as Cotto, and the way to achieve that is by actually fighting great fighters. And as far as I'm concerned, win or lose, nobody over the last decade has fought a higher level of opposition than Cotto. The guy is a true champion that is always game to fight anyone.
Being that there seems to be a shortage on world class fighters in the middleweights right now, this fight only makes sense. Cotto isn't great at anything, but he's good at a lot of things. Golovkin on the other hand only seems to be great at one thing. It only seems natural that he step up to a world class fighter finally and stop rolling over tomato cans.
