Why do so many posters on this site hate Miguel Cotto?

Why I hated Cotto.
1) Fights like a bully then when he gets rocked, runs away.
2) Is a complete baby when he loses, see Austin Trout walk out, that was worse than Broner walkout
3) Always looks constipated and annoyed ( I probably do too so can't really blame hin)
4) Irrational fans who come up with every excuse in the book when he loses.
I mean there is loyalty and then there is insanity.
5) He's got a little bit of a diva in him too.

I think he's a very good boxer overall doe, and he seems to be a good guy so I don't really hate him, it's just fun to root against him.

Not Mexican or a Margarito fan. Probably a bit of a floydiot I guess(dude is just too damn good to not to like) although there's lot's of things i dislike about him. I don't have a problem with Cotto himself. Don't even mind him talking in third person. It's more like I dislike his delusional fan base I think. They're comparable to pacquiaos' fans in the sense that they're totally biased and make no attempt to hide it or come across as fair and balanced. Very emotional about it too. Make a thread about Margarito and everyone with a Cotto avi is in there immediately name calling and even sometimes getting downright racist(one Cotto stan just got banned for it the other night). If you listen to them enough they'll try to convince you that he almost be Floyd. Generally though, I personally dislike patriotism and nationalism. Especially when it comes to boxing. It creates fan boys, not fans.

A respect to Cotto!!! He did what he was supposed to and did it looking great. I had it for Martinez but obviously the man's injury has plagued the rest of his career.

Pac is very classy in defeat, a lot of guys are. I get that he's a competitive dude and all, but sometimes you gotta man up and deal with stuff you don't like.

Floyd fans dislike him because a past prime version gave Floyd a tough fight, and he's also part of Roach's Wildcard set-up.
