Guess I have to reply to my own sensible post.

LOL. He does talk about himself in the third person ala Roy Jones in his prime.

The fan base can be ridic but I don't know how much you can hate Cotto for that.

Patriotism and Nationalism, like it or not, have always been a part of boxing.
I don't think we have evolved from that as people.
Patriotism and nationalism are fine, it's nationalistic chauvinism(my country, place of origin is better than yours) that is the problem and it definitely can be a problem here.
