I wonder about his camp. He didn't look like half the fighter he was and surely his team must have seen that as soon as he got in the gym. What a sad ending.
Where did Martinez hurt his knee last night? When he was at his "best" wasn't he still knocked down by WIlliams and Pavlik?
When Martinez had his legs under him in the 3rd/4th rounds, why was he still being hit at will?
I have seen the fight twice now and this was mostly Cotto being plain better than Sergio as a boxer. Lets not forget Cintron and Pavlik were outboxing him during stretches of their fight.
An example of a fighter losing their legs is Yuri Foreman against Cotto. People keep saying Matinez's movement was his best asset. OK so he was going to move away faster so he could go miss more punches and get countered by Cotto?
if martinez fans had just as much heart as he has, they would make no excuses like he did and accept the loss and congratulate the much lighter challenger miguel cotto

One question. Did Martinez look normal in there?
I've always thought he was somewhat overrated, but the dude moved like he was Bambi on ice. He was farrrrr from being fit to fight
