    That!

There's no problem about how Cotto won it (all props to him). Problem is that ex lieal champ was avoiding fighting the top middlewights for years. Now do we expect Cotto to defend his lineal belt against top middleweight? I mean we all know that he would NOT fight GGG because he knows that will be his end. So there's still the same ****** situation in MW. There's an officially legit lineal champ but all know that he's not the top fighter in the devision.

Cotto put up a great performance and was the better man in the fight, Martinez fought his heart out too, both of them are great champions. Looking forward to Cotto's next fight

GGG would be his end? What? Where did that come from. I'll be the first to say that GGG is the ONLY MW deserving just for the simple fact that he is strong and entertaining....but end? C'mon, where did that come from? I'll admit the dude is very strong and has some boxing ability AND is entertaining, but he is NOT walking through Cotto, I don't care who Cotto's trainer is...no way, no how...and I have a feeling you know better too....GGG is fun but very unproven....You can believe GGG has a chance but to say it would be his end? C'mon....

We clearly have a different opinion on this matter (which is fine). You seem to believe that Cotto (one of my favorite fighters btw) is a legit top middlweight.

Just tell me one thing - do you really believe that Cotto will dare to unify MW titles with GGG? Do you think that this fight will happen?

That will be next logical fight if Cotto is indeed best MW in the world.

Weren't a lot of you calling Cotto shot as well, especially after he lost to Trout?

Agreed on the different opinions and it being ok....I know that's a weird thing around here!

But, to answer your question, yes, I do. Just for the boxing ability of Cotto. Yes GGG could catch him and hurt him, no doubt about that, but I think it would be a boxing clinic because of GGG's inexperience. Me, as a Cotto fan also, would like to see that fight next because I don't want to see that fight 2 years down the road as Cotto's farewell fight. But, the problem is going to be, as it always is, the ALMIGHTY dollar....GGG will not produce enough for Cotto to fight him next....as others have said, it will be someone that steps up in weight, or some BS, that fights him next. But the good thing about that is it will be a good fight, cause Cotto isn't taking a fight that doesn't generate cash and will not take a fight against anyone that is not worthy....and as I said before GGG is the ONLY one deserving just on shear entertainment value and a punchers chance. So, the short answer is yes...but unfortunately, I don't think the fight will happen until GGG beats someone credible. It would be a fun ass fight though!!!

So yes, the knee became a problem AFTER Martinez got rocked several times, non issue otherwise....sorry, you come to the ring with a weakness and allow yourself to get rocked? guess what happens, you get knocked out...bottom line.
