His reflexes have been fading fast in the past few years, I think thats going to be his biggest hinderance in this fight. I have a hunch he will be there to be hit all day by Cotto.

And Junior is ****. Martinez went tooth and nail with Pavlik who has little mobility... there are reasons to think Martinez can win this fight but lets face it the comp he has faced is not one of them.
You'd be hard pressed to find a guy on Sergio's resume in the last 4 years or so that even has a loss on his record man. I think Macklin and Williams were the only guys that even had a loss and Williams avenged his loss via first rd KO against Quintana in the rematch.
Son, you are lying to yourself. Maidana had some success but watch that fight over and you will see why Mayweather said Cotto is his toughest fight to date. Dudes tryin to make a hero out of bums in their avatars.
And even more mileage on Martinez. Lets face hes looked terrible in his last couple of fights. No power, sloppy, lethargic, no speed, rapidly fading reflexes, quickness or agility, no kind of defense, no smarts. Hes just looked brutal. He will need to bring a hell of a lot of more vs a guy as skilled as Cotto.
If people think size will win this they must have never seen Martinez fight. He doesnt fight tall on the outside and he doesnt fight strong on the inside. Very winnable fight for Miguel.
Martinez is "bigger" but he doesnt fight big at all. And if Martinez tries to run it will be running against a fighter who cuts off the ring better than anyone in boxing.
I actually chuckle at the thought of him with his hands down only to take a jab in the mouth by one of the best jabbers in all of boxing. Martinez only has a punchers chance imo.
