And even more mileage on Martinez. Lets face hes looked terrible in his last couple of fights. No power, sloppy, lethargic, no speed, rapidly fading reflexes, quickness or agility, no kind of defense, no smarts. Hes just looked brutal. He will need to bring a hell of a lot of more vs a guy as skilled as Cotto.

If people think size will win this they must have never seen Martinez fight. He doesnt fight tall on the outside and he doesnt fight strong on the inside. Very winnable fight for Miguel.

Martinez is "bigger" but he doesnt fight big at all. And if Martinez tries to run it will be running against a fighter who cuts off the ring better than anyone in boxing.

I actually chuckle at the thought of him with his hands down only to take a jab in the mouth by one of the best jabbers in all of boxing. Martinez only has a punchers chance imo.

Where all the members who were saying I was crazy? Everything I saw was exactly right, Martinez’s reflexes were gone, footwork gone, stamina gone. I picked Cotto to stop him, and thats exactly what happened.

Martinez was a great fighter, and he went out like a champ tonight, but nobody beats father time, the injuries Martinez had don’t just get better overtime, and especially late in his career everyone should have known his best days were behind him.

Unfortunately, the same group of Argentine lovers here, only pick the fighters they like, not who they actually think is going to win. Matthysse, Maidana, Martinez all took L’s this year, and I predicted all of them. You new fans need to learn about boxing, and stop picking people just because of what country they’re from. I’m talking directly to this new little Argentina fan club here that started a few years ago, obviously new fans who don’t know **** about the sport of boxing.

Martinez stands no chance tonight and this is coming from someone who hates Cotto and loves Martinez. Cotto is younger, still fresher, and has new life in him under Freddie Roach. Martinez is old, coming off of a layoff, and looked horrible in his last fight.

I don’t know if Martinez is getting knocked out, because Cotto might not be able to bring his power up with to 159, but he will win this fight fairly easily. I'd be shocked if Martinez won more than 3 rounds.

If Martinez wins tonight, I wont post on here for 3 months, thats how confident I am.
