In any case, Manny should be able and willing to spot him less than five pounds, if he's really serious about making this fight come into fruition. He did it with Margarito. Personally, it sounds like an excuse to not to fight him. For an athlete, Manny's body isn't young anymore. It's maturing and aging as all fighter's do and the longer he prolongs his career, he is going to find it more difficult to maintain fighting at the same weight class. I agree. All I am saying is just dismiss the notion of the two ever meeting in the ring because Manny is naturally too small for Canelo. There is a huge gulf in terms of physical size between the two. It's one of the cruelest hoaxes that could ever be played against boxing fans; To build our hopes up for a fight that will never happen.
