      • idk why a lot of you think 10-15 pounds is much of a difference i can tell you it isnt those 10-15 pounds extra canelo would be, would just make him slower than pacman and believe me pacman could punch just as hard still, he would murder canelo. Now if you're talking 30+ pounds than there is a power difference but 10-15 is nothing.

Why are you so opposed to catch weights? You really care about some numbers decided upon a long time ago really matter for some reason? 158 160 who cares? As long as you're weighing within the division...

I'd rather see great fights than worry about strictly adhering to some made up lines draw in the sand called weight divisions

            Let's see .... 152 + 15 = 167lbs That is a drained JMW??
Actually canelo weigh 165 the night of the fight, somebody did his math wrong. just saying. so send the green cash my way...TY.

Catch weights have been a great means of allowing fights to occur between champions of different divisions, especially when a fighter is moving up in weight. Catch weights go as far back in history to the days of the original Joe Walcott, take in the likes of Gans, Armstrong and Leonard. Heck, people forget that Hopkins/Oscar was at a catch weight too.

Having said all that, I think Canelo is making the right decision, he is a short guy with a broad frame and making 152 is too difficult for him. 154 is the edge of his limits. I personally believe Pacman can come in at 150 and still beat Canelo.

He would be the B-Side and wouldn't get to call the shots anyways

And Pacquiao would beat his ass at any weight
ya you would think so but honestly its arguable at this stage

When Check Hooks talks about Pacquiao, he really gives no logical reasons whatsoever.
